Our goal is to create a world where the weirdly elegant thrive and flourish. We host national and local musical headliners, cabaret and burlesque, stand-up and improv comedy, and movie screenings.

Biniam Bizuneh is a comedian, writer, and actor who’s written for the hit FXX series DAVE, JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!, Netflix/A24’s THE G WORD, and Syfy’s RESIDENT ALIEN. As a comedian, he’s appeared on Comedy Central’s STAND-UP FEATURING and recently had a stand up set released by Don’t Tell Comedy. Robby Hoffman is a small ex-Hasidic queer Jewish stand-up comedian, writer, and true original. Robby is a new cast member on the show *Hacks*, which just had its newest season premiere April 10th on HBO Max, where she is also slated to star and co-write a new comedy series *Unentitled*! She also has a recurring role in the hot new FX series *Dying For Sex* opposite Michelle Williams and currently can be seen as the breakout of Netflix’s *Verified*.
New York Times comedy critic Jason Zinoman compares her "bulldozing stand-up to Larry David because of her mountain-out-of-a-molehill kvetching, but her hilarious rage over people who complain about interruptions during a conversation makes her sound like a modern lesbian Andrew Dice Clay."
Also a favorite of The Times is her podcast, Too Far, which is described as an "addictive listen."
She was named one of Vulture's Top “Comedians to Watch,” one of Comedy Central's “Up Next” comedians, and was on Conan O’Brien’s “Comics to Watch” list. She has performed numerous times at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival and has twice headlined the New York Comedy Festival. She recorded her first one-hour stand up special I’m Nervous in Toronto, available on CraveTV, and can also be seen in History of the World on Hulu.
Robby is also a notable TV writer, having written on The Chris Gethard Show (TruTV), Workin' Moms (Netflix), and Baroness Von Sketch Show (IFC). In 2019, Robby won a Daytime Emmy Award for her writing work on Odd Squad (PBS).

On TV: "Bob's Burgers," "The Good Place," "Murderville", "Black Monday," "Lady Dynamite," "American Housewife," and many more. He's done multiple late night spots on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan, The Late Late Show with James Cordenn, as well as appearing over half a dozen times on After Midnight. Geoffrey Asmus began performing stand-up in 2013 immediately after wasting $143,548 on seven college degrees.
Geoffrey regularly performs at the famous Comedy Cellar in New York City and was featured at Just For Laughs in Montreal and the Netflix festival in Los Angeles.
Geoffrey has opened for Dave Attell, Mark Normand, Dan Soder, Fortune Feimster, Sam Morrill, and Daniel Sloss among others. He headlines comedy clubs worldwide and sleeps on Greyhounds nationwide.
In 2021 his debut album “Prodigal Little Bitch” went to #1 on iTunes. Geoffrey also records the weekly You’re An Idiot podcast with Alex Dragicevich. It is the only funny podcast in America. His new YouTube special “The Only Funny White Man” is out now and his mother says, “It is hellish to behold.”

River Butcher is a Los Angeles-based standup comic, actor, and writer. His first half-hour special "A Different Kind of Dude'' debuted on Comedy Central's Youtube channel and was called "a masterclass in culture war commentary" by Esquire.com. The special also garnered the title of "Some of the Best Jokes of 2022 So Far." River recently wrote and produced on the FX pilot "Belated," previously wrote for "A League of Their Own," and created/starred in/wrote the critically acclaimed and GLAAD award-nominated "Take My Wife." We'll check it out then continue to Real Talk to dance the night away.

Pattern Indy will host a panel discussion with some of the minds behind Pixel Quest to shed some projected light on why this event is so special to us and to Indy. That will be followed by and up-close and intimate discussion with DRUGStm about the PStour and how their crew is taking over the world one glitched console at a time. After that we have music brought to you by Soft Talk, Papa Bubblez, and Jessica Albatross. All accompanied with dope visuals and some tasty grub from Sandy's Pizza!

We are also doing something super fun and different at this one: we will be recording the entire set by the guest live band THE MALL from the mixing board and pressing it to vinyl, just like we have done for the bands Tallies, Twice Dark, Angel-Maker, Replicant, Male Tears, and RIKI! We'll be pressing it in a strictly limited, super-short run of 100 copies on eco colored vinyl with full artwork and sleeve! You can pre-order your copy in advance for an additional $25 when you purchase your Spellbound ticket ($40 gets you entry and a super-limited LP). If you choose to purchase later (if any copies are left) they will be available for $30 at Indy CD & Vinyl. Please allow at least 3 months for the mixing, mastering, and pressing of the record. When the record is done you will be notified to pick them up at Indy CD & Vinyl or to pay for shipping to you.
We plan to do this for live bands booked at Spellbound going forward, for a continuing series called "Live at Spellbound" that will become a lasting legacy of collectible records you can keep as a reminder of the story of live music at our dark alternative dance night. There will be a connecting design theme on all the records and you could be the first one on your block to collect them all!
Beware: this event features loud music, flashing and strobing lights, fog and haze, and lots and lots of fun.

From Dec 2016 - Nov 2019 Spellbound was held at Pioneer Indy on the last Saturday of every month, and since Dec 2019 it has called The White Rabbit Cabaret home on the last Saturday of each month.
