Cabaret for a Cure (Live Musical Event benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)

Join us for an amazing evening of song and celebration at the White Rabbit Cabaret as we raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and Eddie Rangel's campaign toward earning the title of Man of the Year. Some of Indy's finest will be taking the stage to share their stories and songs of hope and joy: Tim Hunt, Rashida Bonds, Brenda Williams, Steven Stolen, Matt Siregar, and Todd Hawks on the keys. All proceeds from the evening will benefit LLS and Eddie's campaign.

The doors will open at 6:30pm for guests to begin the evening with libations from the White Rabbit Cabaret's bar (cash or card). The White Rabbit offers wine, a huge selection of beer, and liquor. There is a $20 cover that will help support the LLS.

THE REASON

Although someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer every 3 minutes, there is great hope for the future. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families. This is done through research, patient aid, education and advocacy with the funds raised by generous supporters.

CAMPAIGN 2016

Each year, in communities across the country, dynamic and passionate candidates engage in a spirited 10-week fundraising competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 'Man & Woman of the Year' titles by raising funds for blood cancer research. The exciting 2016 campaign began with a lively Kickoff Celebration on March 3rd at Chef Joseph's at the Connoisseur Room and culminates with a celebration of everyone's efforts at the Grand Finale Gala on Saturday, May 14th at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtowns with dinner, cocktails, and fabulous silent and live auctions.

THE HONOREES

All candidates raise funds in honor of our Boy & Girl of the Year, as well as their own personal connection to blood cancers. The 2016 Boy & Girl of the Year are Luke Canterbury and Grace Gumino.
