Starting in 2013, FSMF began as a passion project of collected Fountain Square residents who were hungry to celebrate local music and art. Now, FSMF has become an integral part of the neighborhood’s continued evolution and development as a live entertainment destination. What started as a one-day music festival with equal focus placed on promoting and contributing to the surrounding Fountain Square community, the festival has now grown exponentially in each of its 4 years. In 2015, FSMF expanded to a four-day event for the first time. In the days that led up to the July 4th all-day main event, FSMF featured free music on the Fountain Plaza, followed by evening concerts at four fantastic Fountain Square music venues: White Rabbit Cabaret, Radio Radio, The Hi-Fi, and Joyful Noise Recordings.
Fountain Square Music Festival 2016 Dates: March 25 and 26
Each evening, FSMF will host a series of concerts in various Fountain Square venues:
- The Hi-Fi
- Radio Radio
- White Rabbit Cabaret
- Pioneer
- *Fountain Square Theatre (Main Stage)
Each venue will have its own specifically curated stage with local and regional support. Attendees are able to purchase wristbands allowing them to access all venues. Each evening, the venues will provide music from 7-10:30pm. After 10:30, the more intimate venues will close, and the FSMF headline performance at Main Stage begins.
