TODD BARRY- Live at tThe White Rabbit
presented by Let's Comedy!
Friday, August 3
Doors at 7
Show at 8pm
Must be 21+ with Valid ID
All Seating is First Come, First Served
New York City-based comedian and actor Todd Barry is widely recognized for his roles as the bongo-playing Third Conchord on HBOs Flight of the Conchords and Mickey Rourkes deli boss in 2009 Oscar winner The Wrestler, and renowned throughout the entertainment industry for his nuanced, measured, and thoroughly original approach to stand-up. Drawing audience members in with his deadpan self-deprecation and ability to pile punchline upon punchline, his decidedly low-key stage persona belies a deeply intelligent, often biting, occasionally absurdist worldview, one lauded by discerning fans who seek a fresh yet honest update to traditional observation and social commentary.
Boasting multiple stand-up appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan OBrien, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and two Comedy Central Presents specials, and his latest one hour Comedy Central special Super Crazy. Todds resume also includes such hit TV shows as Louie, Delocated, Bored to Death, Tim and Eric, Chappelles Show, Sex and the City, Roast Battle and even Sesame Street. Among his additional feature-film highlights are Todd Phillipss Road Trip, Louis CKs Pootie Tang, and Mitch Hedbergs Los Enchiladas. You can see him soon at Sigourney Weaver's right hand man in Amy Heckerling's Vamps, and as Paul Rudd's co-worker in David Wain's Wanderlust. Internationally he has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Montreals Just For Laughs Festival, the Vancouver International Comedy Festival, and Kilkenny, Irelands Cat Laughs Festival.
Todd has been heard on both The Howard Stern Show and The Bob & Tom Show, and his albums Medium Energy, Falling Off the Bone, and From Heaven are available from Comedy Central Records, Amazon and iTunes. He has earned the U.S. Comedy Arts Festivals Jury Award, praise from Ricky Gervais as one of the best comedians of 2009, and accolades from The Onions A.V. Club, which declared Medium Energy one of the best comedy albums of the decade.
Todd was the subject of a recent New York Times Arts section cover story, which referred to him as a master of standup and noted when it comes to live performance, few comics are more consistently funny.
Todd Barry Podcast debuted in 2013 and has since reached #1 on the iTunes.

This Too Shall Suck is a life history about always coming in second place, or as Matt Graham explains, the story of “one man’s transformation from total loser into not quite as much of a loser.” Covering the span of Graham’s forty-five years, the show is an autobiography with a Messiah Complex as fluent in narcissism as it is in big ideas.
NEW YORK (AP) — If you ever wanted to attend an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in a bar, make room on your calendar any Thursday evening and go see the very funny one-man show “This Too Shall Suck.” It’s written and performed with both sincerity and irony by Matt Graham, who is well aware that he’s a narcissistic, self-destructive recovering alcoholic and comedian.

Harebrained Comedy presents
live at The White Rabbit Cabaret
One Night Only.
with special guest Lucas Waterfill and Erin Carr
Doors 7pm, Comedy 8pm. $15 advance
In the spring of 1993 Costaki was doing graduate work at the University of Georgia. He spent most of his time hammering out a thesis on the influence of political satire on our feelings about government. His off time was spent honing his stand-up skills in pizza joints and bars around town. When he had to turn down a couple of gigs to work on the paper, it made his stomach hurt. He hung in there, finished the thesis, got his master’s degree, and within a year was a fulltime comic on the road. He has been criss-crossing the country telling jokes ever since.
His humor has been described as smart, pointed, hip, sharp, insightful, socially relevant, and gut-laugh funny. A fellow comic once referred to Costaki as a “casually brilliant joke philosopher.” He weighs in on everything from parenting and football, to pirates and rice cakes. And his light swagger, playful squint, and wry smile tell you that perhaps there’s more to this multi-layered joke than you first recognized.
Costaki began to make some noise in the business by reaching the finals of the Seattle Comedy Competition, where he was discovered and invited to the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival. He’s been back to Montreal twice since then. And he was just one of ten finalists in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots national talent search.
You may have seen him recently on a Showtime Special. Or on Comedy.TV, Last Comic Standing, or NickMom Night Out. Over the years, Costaki has performed in all 50 states, covering the country’s best clubs, hundreds of beautiful theaters, dozens of colleges, and some of the worst bars in America.
Also a talented writer, Costaki’s jokes have appeared on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, and Best Damn Sports Show Period. He was a writer for BET, where he was staffed on two of their hit shows. He wrote jokes for Bette Midler’s Kiss My Brass Tour. Costaki spent Spring Break one year in Cancun writing on the MTV show Parental Approval. He also wrote daily for The Complete Sheet, a DJ prep service that goes out to almost 500 stations worldwide.
But he is easily best known for regular segment on the syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show that reaches some five million people in 140 markets. And that segment has spun off into “Quick Snaps,” the all-NFL topical version, which has a weekly home during the season on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. “Quick Snaps” is also a podcast, and appears weekly on several independent radio shows all over the country. This national exposure has opened the door to Costaki’s dream: people coming to see his live performances “on purpose.”
After a performance with Jake Johannsen, Costaki’s mother said, “You were better than that other guy.” And really, is there anything more to say after that?

TRIVIAL MOONLIGHT- SUMMER TOUR 2018

Gwen Sunkel (hosting)
$10 in Advance, $12 at the Door.
Doors at 7pm, Show begins at 8pm sharp. Seating is General Admission. 21+ only.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, April Richardson moved to Los Angeles after graduating from college (later than most people do). Growing up, she was always obsessed with comedy & was always, as the expression goes, the "class clown." April never realized you could get paid for being obnoxious & disruptive until she moved to L.A. and got a job on E!'s hit show Chelsea Lately — Hollywood dreams, they do come true!
Since Chelsea Lately ended, she has toured with Dana Gould and Chris Hardwick & have appeared several times on Comedy Central's hit show @midnight (you can see the highlights here). She currently co-host the weekly show Almost Genius on TruTV with her friend Chris Fairbanks.
She has also published her own photocopied zine since the age of 14, and has kept a blog since 1997. April used to work for MTV & regularly contributed pop-culture pieces.
April also created & hosted the popular Go Bayside podcast for nearly two years. She thinks being able to make ends meet by doing comedy & comedy-related things is really wonderful & enjoyable & she feels very lucky. (And she made lord of the underworld Glenn Danzig laugh once? This probably qualifies her for a Nobel Prize nomination.)
Chip Pope has come a long way from Austin Stories. Not that Austin Stories isn’t great, but it’s quite different than writing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Or writing with Mike Judge on his series The Goode Family. Or making it to the semi-finals on Last Comic Standing. Or being close personal friends with British new wave singer R.O. Manse. Yep, he’s come a long way!
